Coming this month.
Preface to The Enemy Formula:
“Use the shotgun”, Kerry Riley advised in his thick Oklahoman drawl, “it’s better they be picking shards of glass out of their foreheads for a spell till the Sheriff arrives than to have corpses on your hands.” Kerry preferred that I use my double-barrel, over-under shot gun – “use the heavier buckshot, not that chicken-shit bird shot” – when the Mexican Mafia started surveiling my home in preparation for a drive by shooting. One of their offshoots had tagged my car port with their death sentence – three pitch fork prongs up, with stars above each one, signifying I am soon to arrive in one of three places: jail, the hospital or the morgue. That is how the lead investigator for the San Patricio County District Attorney’s Office interpreted it anyhow. Until I helped deliver some hoods to jail, I would continue…

Another preview from Chapter Four:
Selling of Indulgences
Callous greed grows pious very fast.
– Lillian Hellman
Four hundred and ninety-five years ago Martin Luther sparked the Protestant Reformation with one seemingly innocent act. He posted what would be called his 95 Theses on the door of the Catholic church in Wittenberg, Germany for purposes of discussion. The 95 Theses were an enumerated list of abuses by the Vatican, carried out at the direction of the “infallible” pope. While many abuses were covered, the ones at first most focused upon were those connected with the practice of selling indulgences. The idea of buying one’s way to salvation, to Luther, was the most hideous single desecration of Christ.

The Gates of Hell
Hell has three gates: lust, anger and greed.
– The Baghavad Gita
Some still caught in the throes of denial may be saying to themselves, “But still, to compare Miscavige to Pope Leo X? After all, Miscavige isn’t having naked little boys jump out of his birthday cake!”

Excerpt from Chapter Seven – Confessional:
In this wise, a new moral code is imposed upon individuals, covertly and against their own determinisms. It is exacerbated by repeated questioning about the individual’s failure to report on other Scientologists. After a while, a corporate Scientologist modifies her behavior accordingly, in order to avoid more security checks. She not only edits her own behavior and thoughts, she attempts to do the same with Scientologist friends and family members, so that she does not get into trouble for overlooking such transgressions of others. Thus, a process that was originally intended to free a person from the self-imposed mental prison she has created by her own inability to live up to what she considers right and ethical conduct becomes reversed. The preclear is instead forced to agree to a new mental prison…
