Leah Remini’s Big Fear: Could Confidential Scientology Files Be Released? http://t.co/fRPU3RilDs
— Hollywood Reporter (@THR) August 2, 2013
Separated from longtime friends and facing hostility from some, “The King of Queens” actress finds the early days of her life after leaving the religion tricky to navigate.
How would you feel if you had just left a controversial organization and many lifelong friends after openly challenging the boss — yet knew they had possession of 37 years worth of your most intimate confessions in typed files and on videotape?
“When Leah and her family made the decision to leave the church after having been members for decades, the church immediately used disconnection against them in retaliation,” says Karen de la Carriere, who was one of Scientology’s top executives before she left in 2010 after 35 years as a member. De la Carriere is one of several ex-church members helping Remini navigate this difficult and highly charged situation. “Leah and her family were suddenly cut off from friendships that had lasted 20 years or more.”

Mike Rinder, who has not been able to speak to most of his family members still inside the church since his defection, told THR that in his opinion the information found at the website www[dot]whoismichaelrinder.com could only have come from his auditing files at the church.
“They have letters purportedly written by my ex-wife and daughter about stuff that they could never have known about,” says Rinder of the website devoted to him. “Even worse, they take a kernel of truth and turn it into a lie. It says on the site that I stuck firecrackers in the butts of cats when I was a kid. What I actually did was blow up ant hills with firecrackers. Either way, it was never something I discussed with my ex-wife or daughter.”

At the end of each of the auditing sessions, which covered Cruise’s entire life, Rathbun would give a written report to Miscavige, who, according to Claire Headley, also received the videotapes, which she says she observed being delivered to him
Why can’t David Miscavige stay out of Tom Cruise’s relationships with women?
As Scientology Inc. (the church of Scientology) has so idiotically already spread all over the comments section at Vanity Fair, Nazanin Boniadi is a good friend of mine. Naz is a courageous woman who was ruthlessly exploited by David Miscavige and Tom Cruise several years ago. Because of the nature of the bond of trust I share with Naz, there is not much I can share with you about her. But, since her name and a version of her story are about to go viral, there is something that people ought to know about Naz. For years, Naz has known that she could make international headlines and perhaps forward her fledgling acting career by blowing the whistle on Tom Cruise and his bff David Miscavige. But, Naz chose not to do so. She wanted to be judged only by the merits of her skills and abilities. Instead, she intelligently decided on more quiet and effective means she could apply to effectuate change in the monstrous institution that so inhumanely attempted to exploit her and others. Naz quietly and dedicatedly went about establishing a career powered and supported only by the quality of her talent. She found time also to forward the cause of effectively taming the beast. On a personal level, in four short years she became a well-employed actor and recognized, effective human rights activist.
David Miscavige and Tom Cruise took measures to prevent Naz from achieving any noteriety – for obvious reasons. But, Naz was undeterred. She made it in spite of Tom Cruise and David Miscavige.
Stop Human Trafficking by the Sea Organization
This is the story of one of the women who was nefariously recruited into a program of pimping and human trafficking by Scientology’s soldier/priests of the Sea Organization.
Tom Cruise is the only winner ever of the International Association of Scientologists (IAS) Freedom Medal of Valor. This video was played at the awards ceremony.
As an official spokesperson for Amnesty International USA (AIUSA) since 2009, British-Iranian actress and activist Nazanin Boniadi has worked at a grassroots level and has also appeared on international TV and radio programs to campaign for the rights of disenfranchised populations across the world. In particular, Nazanin has been very involved in bringing attention to the unjust conviction and treatment of Iranian youth, women and prisoner’s of conscience.
“Tom Cruise Worships David Miscavige Like a God”: A Scientology Insider Gives First Full-Length Interview to the Voice
I’ve spoken to John Brousseau numerous times over the past couple of years. In 2011, I reported about the photographs he smuggled out of Scientology’s International Base east of Los Angeles which documented the work he did customizing a motorcycle, a Ford Excursion, and an airplane hangar for Tom Cruise while working for pennies an hour as a member of Scientology’s “Sea Org.”
More recently, it was Brousseau who helped me understand why Sea Org members believe that Scientology leader David Miscavige’s wife Shelly was “disappeared” to a secret base in the mountains above Los Angeles.
But until now, I’ve never told Brousseau’s entire story as a 32-year member of Scientology and the last person to escape from the International Base who is talking publicly about it.
Whistle-blowers who have escaped the Sea Organization’s prison camp near Hemet, CA report that Tom Cruise is well aware of the fact that Sea Organization slave labor has been employed to overhaul his house on Alpine Drive in Beverly Hills, customize his Bluebird mobile home, build out his airplane hangar at Burbank Airport and other various tasks.
